“Workshop on Innovative Approaches to Nursing Profession” was held.

Noting that justice should be ensured in wages in the nursing profession, Sağlık-Sen President Mahmut Faruk Doğan said, “In order to ensure fairness and justice, a nurse working in intensive care should not receive the same salary as a nurse who does not practice nursing. Someone who does not practice the nursing profession should not be given a nursing salary.”

“Innovative Approaches to Nursing Profession Workshop” was organized by Sağlık-Sen. The workshop, attended by experts and academicians, focused on 7 topics: Education, Competence and Competence in Nursing, Compliance of Nursing Legislation with Today’s Nursing Services Provision, Field Practices and Deficiencies in Nursing Services, Career Steps in Nursing, Performance-Based Wage Policies in Nursing Services, Professional Communication and Respectability in Nursing, Employment Needs in Nursing and Union Expectations.

The workshop was attended by Sağlık-Sen President Mahmut Faruk Doğan, Vice Presidents Sinan Kuluöztürk, Yasin Barutcu, İdris Baykan, Mustafa Irgatoğlu, Abdullah Duman, Turkish Nurses Association President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azize Atlı Özbaş and Nursing Education Association (HEMED) member Assoc. Dr. Gülten Koç.
